No. Silver is priced for a hall bath, which is a smaller room with less in it. The build standard is the same: demo to the studs, R13 insulation, new drywall. What changes is the size of the room and the level of the finishes. If you are remodeling a primary bathroom, Gold is the honest starting point rather than Silver.

Yes. Our Platinum Primary Bathroom package includes a free standing tub with a curbless shower, and Gold includes a free standing tub with a curbed shower. If a curbless shower is the main reason you are remodeling, say so at the walkthrough and we will scope it directly.

Heated floors are included in the Platinum Primary Bathroom package at $65,500, along with a wall mounted towel warmer and a chandelier. Gold includes the towel warmer. If heated floors matter to you on a Gold bathroom, raise it at the walkthrough.

Our own team. Husky Cara includes architects, structural engineers and designers alongside the tradesmen, so the design work and the structural decisions happen in-house. If your bathroom needs a wall moved, our engineers assess it before we quote the job, not after demo has started.

In practice, very little. Renovation usually means updating what is there. Remodel usually means changing the layout as well. We treat both as the same job: working out what the room needs to become and building it.

A one or two day job is a refinish. New surfaces go over what is already there and nothing behind the wall changes. We demo to the studs and rebuild the plumbing, electrical, framing, waterproofing and finishes. Different job, different timeline, different price.
