Rebuilt media wall, updated the entire lower level.
This basement was already finished. It was dated, and the built-ins had been designed around a television half the size of the one the homeowner wanted. We tore the old cabinets out, widened the opening to take an 82-inch TV, rebuilt the shelving around it and ran color-changing LED tape lighting through the new millwork, finished with crown molding. The pool room got new flooring, fresh paint and white wainscoting, and the doors are custom French barn doors we built for the openings rather than ordered to fit them.
A Wonderful Life Basement

A complete basement build rather than a refresh. A working kitchenette and bar for entertaining, a lounge built around the fireplace wall, and a full bathroom finished to the standard of an upstairs primary — freestanding tub with a floor-mounted filler, a tiled walk-in shower, and warm metal fittings throughout. The whole layout was drawn and approved before demo, which is how a basement this size gets built once instead of adjusted twice.

This one started at bare studs and a concrete subfloor. We built the theater room from scratch — a tiered platform so every row sees the screen, a coffered ceiling, and dark walls to keep light off the picture. Off it sits a lounge with a linear fireplace under the mounted TV, a rebuilt staircase, and a full bathroom with a dark tiled shower and a backlit round mirror. The photos run start to finish, not just the finished room.
